1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the PEAK iPhone application and the PEAK website. It does not apply to third-party services that have their own privacy policies, including Apple, RevenueCat, and Superwall.
2. Information PEAK processes
Focus and settings data
PEAK may store information you create while using the app, including focus-session history, session duration, completion status, presets, routines, daily targets, onboarding choices, focus settings, notification preferences, and active-session recovery state.
Device and permission state
PEAK may process whether required iOS permissions are granted, including Screen Time / Family Controls and local notification authorization, so the app can accurately show whether blocking and completion notifications can work.
Support communications
If you contact support, PEAK receives the information you choose to include in your email, such as your email address, device details, screenshots, or a description of an issue.
Website data
The current PEAK website does not intentionally include advertising trackers or a custom analytics system. Standard infrastructure providers may still process technical request data such as IP address, browser information, and security logs as necessary to deliver and protect the site.
3. Apple Screen Time and selected distractions
PEAK uses Apple frameworks such as Family Controls, Managed Settings, and Device Activity to shield apps, categories, and websites that you select. Apple provides these selections to PEAK as opaque framework tokens. PEAK does not inspect or reverse-engineer those tokens to identify the specific apps or sites you selected.
The selection data needed for blocking may be stored on-device and in the app's shared App Group so the main app and its Device Activity extension can coordinate active sessions and routines.
4. Subscription and service providers
PEAK uses third-party services to operate paid access and paywalls. Those providers may process device, purchase, entitlement, product, or interaction information according to their own policies.
- Apple / App Store: processes downloads, purchases, subscription billing, refunds, and platform permissions.
- RevenueCat: is used to validate and manage subscription entitlements and purchase state.
- Superwall: is used to present and experiment with subscription paywalls and related placements.
PEAK does not receive your full payment-card number from App Store purchases.
5. How information is used
PEAK uses information to provide focus sessions, apply and clear selected blocking rules, restore an active session after relaunch, maintain presets and routines, display progress, verify paid access, present subscription offers, schedule local completion notifications, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and maintain app reliability.
PEAK does not sell your personal information.
6. Storage and retention
Core focus history and settings are primarily stored locally on your device. Removing the app or clearing its data may remove locally stored PEAK information, subject to iOS behavior and any device backups you control.
Subscription providers and Apple may retain records for their own operational, security, legal, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes under their respective policies. Support emails may be retained as long as reasonably necessary to resolve requests and maintain support records.
7. Your choices and rights
You can choose whether to grant Screen Time and notification permissions. You can also edit or remove presets, routines, and focus settings through the app where those controls are available.
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal information PEAK controls. To make a privacy request, email augustin.dev@tutamail.com. PEAK may need enough information to verify and complete the request.
For information controlled directly by Apple, RevenueCat, or Superwall, you may also need to exercise rights with those providers.
8. Children
PEAK is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to the processing described in this policy. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support request or another PEAK-controlled channel, contact us so the issue can be reviewed.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as PEAK changes. Material updates will be reflected by changing the effective date on this page and, where appropriate, by providing additional notice in the app or website.
10. Contact
Questions or privacy requests can be sent to augustin.dev@tutamail.com.
